Tala Estes
I’ve been club swimming since I was 8 years old through King Aquatics Club and now Seattle Metropolitan Aquatic Club in addition to currently being on my high school swim team! While I’m newer to working with kids, I am excited to share my passion of swimming through instructing.
Favorite swim memory: Getting my first sectionals cut in the mile at the same time as one of my teammates!
Favorite stroke: Freestyle, with a love for distance
I love how SwimQwik creates strong one-on-one connections that empower swimmers to grow and feel confident. The individualized feedback helps each swimmer progress in a way that’s right for them.
My teaching approach is I meet each swimmer where they are, focusing on how they learn best. By combining fun with technical work, I aim to spark a love for the water while building a solid foundation. I emphasize body position, connection, catch, and breathing to help swimmers feel strong and capable in the pool.
