Dalainee Haessler

I’ve been swimming competitively since I was 10, and my time on the Issaquah High School team helped me refine my technique. My background includes working as a youth swim instructor and teaching in elementary settings. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Hawaiʻi and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Education. Living in Hawaiʻi deepened my love for swimming and my passion for helping others feel confident in the water.

My favorite swim memory was going on a long distance ocean swim and spotting three sea turtles and a reef shark!

My favorite stroke is breaststroke!

I love instructing at SwimQwik because of the small-group and one-on-one lessons, which allow me to form

meaningful connections with swimmers and provide truly personalized instruction.

My teaching approach is grounded in my background in education and a passion for helping every swimmer succeed. I enjoy creating fun, personalized lessons that align with each swimmer's abilities. Watching swimmers gain confidence and skill is the best part of what I do, and I’d be thrilled to share that experience with you or your child.
